This weekend was Emory University's 175th anniversary, and we celebrated with homecoming! A bunch of alumni came to visit, and we had fun events all week to commemorate the occasion.
I spent my Saturday morning with my sorority sisters in Gamma Phi Beta participating in the homecoming parade (the theme was "super sweet 175th"!). We made an adorable float, cheered a lot, and had a blast! Gamma Phi's theme was "ain't no party like a GPhi party".
We ended up winning best float at the parade!
Here are some fun things you'll only see at Emory; Swoop (our Eagle mascot), frat boys in Winnie-the-Pooh outfits, and Dooley (our other mascot; a skeleton with a body guard). Thanks the the memories, Emory!
Check back later for more homecoming fun!
