After Emory's homecoming parade on Saturday, the University put on a free carnival and concert for alumni and students! There was free food, a giant blow up slide, and tons of free goodies (t-shirts, snazzy cups, and some rockin' water bottles). Five For Fighting also preformed (they sing 100 years and Superman), and they were absolutely wonderful!
The opening act was Big Tree, a sweet indie band I totally recommend you check out!
I've loved Five for Fighting since I was a kid, so it was great to see them for free. The lead singer was even wearing an Emory t-shirt!
For a school without a football team, it was great to see so much school spirit over the weekend! Also, check out the silly picture below. Boys will be boys?
Do you have any fun plans for the weekend?
