Amsterdam: Center City

Hayley and I spent our third day in Amsterdam walking around the beautiful city center. We visited the Joods Historisch Museum (Jewish History Museum) and Rembrandthuis, walked around the Vlooienmarkt (an antique street market) and Dam Square, and saw the gorgeous Koninklijk Paleis. We also went to the Amsterdam Museum, the Bloomenmarket (a cute but touristy market with flowers and souvenirs), the Sex Museum (so much penis paraphernalia! ah!) and took an obligatory stroll through the red light district.

We got lunch at a cute cafe called "Tisfris", where we sat outside and ate with a view of the canals! I had an amazing goat cheese, honey, pear, pine nut, and ginger glaze sandwich; definitely something I need to try to recreate!
