On April first Hayley and I took a break from finals essay writing and went to The Chocolate Festival at the Southbank Center in London. It was a beautiful spring day and between the chocolate vendors and pretty spring flowers I was in heaven!
One of my favorite things about the day was seeing all of the pretty chocolate goods for Easter, like giant chocolate Easter eggs and pastel chocolates. I ended up getting a tiny, adorable chocolate Guinness cupcake and some yummy caramelized biscuit and caramel cheesecake (you had me at caramelized.), along with a few presents for my family (shh, don't tell them). All in all, not a bad way to spend a study break!
