Hayley and I spent last weekend wandering around the City of London, seeing the sights, and visiting all of the markets we could find! We started off the day at Tower Bridge and then walked to the amazing Borough Market for lunch. I got a grilled cheese sandwich from Kappacasein (described as "the platonic ideal of grilled cheese", a statement with which I completely agree.). So good.
After lunch we explored the Museum of London and The Barbican and went to the Southbank Center's "Real Food Market", where I got a tasty veggie and rice ball wrap for dinner. We ended the day with a walk home that involved a protest, break dancers, and very tired feet!
